Although this MADCAT rod has been incredibly popular among catfish anglers in Europe for many years now, we somehow found a way to make it even better. Besides a fresh new look, the real stand-out feature is the fact that the two shortest length versions are not parted in the middle of the blank, but just above the grip. This makes the blanks effectively one-piece and even more powerful – a feat some thought wasn’t possible! These spinning rods are light enough to cast lures yet powerful enough to properly hook and play record-sized catfish.
